Counselling Experience
I started seeing clients in 2014 whilst carrying out my counselling placement with a Plymouth-based Community Interest Company. I worked on a number of funded projects, providing counselling for: those who had experienced domestic abuse; carers and heart and stroke patients. Once I had qualified in 2015, I provided counselling within a Plymouth secondary school for girls aged 11-18 years.
From 2016 – 2021, I was Project Lead for the Victims of Crime counselling service at a Plymouth-based organisation. I also co-facilitated a Domestic Abuse Therapy Group for this organisation.
I have been working in private practice since 2015 and am now at Lifton Community Centre on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. I do zoom or phone sessions on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
In the last few years, I have worked increasingly with people with ADHD and autism.
